The Point of Pride program has been implemented by the City of Langley to help keep our parks, trails, waterways and streets clean, beautiful and environmentally sound. While most City parks have been successfully adopted, we have many streets and trails available and in need of adoption.
Individuals, groups, families and businesses are invited to “adopt” a street and through their volunteer work (i.e. garbage collecting, tree planting) and sponsorship (i.e. donations and fundraising), work towards maintaining and improving the street/trail for everyone to enjoy. Upon adoption, garbage tongs, t-shirts and garbage bags will be provided to adoptees.
Following six months of active adoption, signage may be requested. Signage indicates the individual/group or business responsible for maintenance of their street/trail.
