Residents of the City of Langley have been getting behind the City’s vision for a healthy and active community, with hundreds of people getting motivated together and participating in group classes at the new Timms Community Centre.
Spring has blossomed at the new Timms Community Centre, with hundreds of Langley residents and visitors getting active and ready just in time for summer. “Our vision from the beginning was for the Timms Centre to become a vibrant hub of sports and culture in the Langley community, and it hasn’t taken long for it to become just that,” said Mayor Ted Schaffer. “It’s fantastic to see people take charge of their health and embrace a healthy and active lifestyle.”
The City of Langley, with the assistance of Diamond Head Consulting (lead consultant) and Zoetica Environmental Research Services (sub consultant), recently completed an Environmentally Sensitive Areas Mapping Study.
Langley City Council, at the March 7th Regular Council Meeting, adopted the Community Crime Prevention Strategic Plan.
Construction of sewer main on 201A St between 53A Ave and 54A Ave.
Starting Monday May 7, 2016, Sandpiper Contracting will begin construction of upgrades to the water and sewer mains on 203 Street between Grade Crescent and 49 A Avenue.
