douglas park playground

Douglas Park
206th Street & Douglas Crescent

This passive park has an adventure playground, 2 tennis courts, water park (seasonal), bowling green, sports box, basketball hoops and public washrooms. Douglas Recreation Centre, situated in the park, offers many programs for the citizens of Langley and is also available for rentals such as wedding receptions or banquets, etc. For more information, phone (604) 514-2865.

Langley Spirit Square at Douglas Park


The Langley Spirit Square is a covered performance platform that can be book for medium to large public events. For information or to book the Spirit Square please call 604-514-2902.

City Park
207 Street between 48 Ave & 51 Ave

This park features Al Anderson Memorial Pool, children’s waterpark and playground, a lacrosse box, 12 picnic tables and washrooms.

A covered picnic shelter that can accommodate up to 75 people is also available and can be booked for your picnic (please enter from 205A St. and approximately 49A Avenue. There is a alley to the parking lot adjacent to the picnic  area). For furrther information or to book call (604) 514-2865.

Sendall Gardens
 

201 A Street & 50 Avenue

Botanical Gardens that feature 3.67 acres of beautiful and unique plants, shrubs and trees. Nature trail, 2 duck ponds and public washroomsSeveral varieties of wildfowl to observe, including geese and ducks. This park is a popular location for wedding and family photos.

The tropical greenhouse offers a wide variety of colourful exotic plants and is open to the public April 1 to October 1.

Portage Park


204 Street & 51A Avenue

This is the main entrance to the Nicomekl Floodplain Trail system. There is an adventure playground and a paved play area for ball hockey. Washrooms are available.

Brydon Park
198 Street & 53 Avenue

Adventure playground, paved play area for ball hockey and basketball, intermediate soccer field, softball diamond and washrooms.

Brydon Lagoon is south of the park and has a peaceful perimeter walk around the lagoon with opportunities to observe wildfowl and turtles.

Hunter Park

This is a small park with trails and some playground equipment set in a natural setting heavily wooded with native trees.

Buckley Park
196 Street & 48 Avenue

Complete with two all weather soccer fields (with lights), adventure playground and public washrooms. This park is part of our Nature Trail system.

Nicomekl Park

A suitable parking area and starting point to enter the floodplain and various walking trails.

Penzer Bike Park

Dirt jumps for mountain bike enthusiasts is extremely popular with riders from beginner to expert. Parking lot is south west corner of the park. The Nature Trail passes through the park.

A neighbourhood park complete with a playground, water park, perimeter jogging track, 2 picnic tables and a tennis court.

Rotary Centennial Park
Enter from 208th Street

There is a playground, ball diamond, senior soccer field, display garden beds and washrooms. A paved walking path follows the perimeter and the facilities are wheelchair accessible.

Dumais Park
208 Street and 57 Avenue

Dog Off Leash Park
206 Street and 44A Avenue

This is an 18 acre, fully fenced area with a perimeter walking path where dogs and owners can meet and enjoy a large open space for walking and playing. There is a large parking lot and a drinking fountain designed for both dogs and people.
