Master Transportation Plan Update
The City of Langley is updating its Master Transportation Plan and hosted Public Open Houses on January 23 and October 30, 2013.
The Master Transportation Plan is a multi-modal transportation strategy that will guide the development of the City’s roadway network, transit infrastructure, bicycle facilities and pedestrian systems over the next 25 years. The Master Transportation Plan update will provide a number of opportunities for residents to provide feedback, including public events, a survey, and discussions with stakeholders.
Due to rapid growth and recent transportation system changes at the City and surrounding areas, the current MTP (adopted in 2004) requires updating. The new MTP, which is to be completed over the next six months, will guide future development of all modes of transportation in the City, including the, bicycle, pedestrian, transit, and road networks over the next 25 years.
If you weren’t able to attend the Open House in person, you can still have your say. Please take a look at the story boards below and feel free to complete a survey or email comments to Igor Zahynacz, Acting Manager of Engineering Services at firstname.lastname@example.org
