WHAT IS BIG BIKE?

The Heart&Stroke Big Bike is a team event geared towards community organizations, companies and groups. Teams made up of 29 enthusiastic riders (and one driver provided by the Foundation) pedal through their community in support of heart disease and stroke research.

WHY RIDE?

Not only is the Heart&Stroke Big Bike a fun adventure with friends and colleagues – it's also FREE for your organization to participate. With no registration fee for your team, you don't want to miss out on the action! It only takes about 20 minutes to ride the bike, but it is an experience you won't soon forget!

A vital fundraiser with impressive results, Heart&Stroke Big Bike continues to engage Canadians across the country. Last year, over 40,000 riders, in over 200 communities, helped raise over $7 million for research! This is helping us achieve even greater results that change the lives of not only heart and stroke patients, but for all Canadians.

Register your team and get ready to:

  • Inspire your peers and help make a difference to the heart health of Canadians
  • Support life-saving research
  • Encourage your employees to live healthy, active lives

WHY FUNDRAISE?

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada is celebrating 50 years of leading the way to better cardiovascular health for Canadians through research, health promotion, and advocacy.  Hundreds of thousands of Canadians help us make a difference every year by fundraising, volunteering and donating to our cause.  The Foundation, in turn, gives back to Canadians in countless ways.
