Daycamps For Kids During Strike
The City of Langley Recreation, Culture and Community Services Department is pleased to offer daycamps for children ages 5-12 years to help families in need of child care during the B.C. Teachers’ Federation full-scale strike taking place on Monday, March 5th through Wednesday, March 7th.
These fun-filled camps, taking place at Douglas Recreation Centre, 20550 Douglas Crescent, will keep children busy with numerous activities including arts, crafts, sports, cooking and off-site fieldtrips. Camps will run Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. at a cost of $100.00 per child for all three days or $36.00 for individual days. Extended play is also available for any parents who would like to drop their child off as early as 7:30 a.m. and as late as 6:00 p.m. at an additional cost of $28.00 per child for all three days or $10.00 per day. Sibling discounts are available – please inquire when registering.
