
Development Cost Charges
Development Cost Charges are used to fund specific capital works projects as wel as for the acquisition and improvement of parkland. There are two different Development Cost Charges applicable in the City of Langley: charges for water, sewer, drainage, roads and parks pursuant to the City of Langley's "Development Cost Charge Bylaw, 2002, No. 2482" and, charges for sewer pursuant to the Greater Vancouver Sewerage and Drainage District Act. and Industrial DCC's shown in this table were converted from the metric units givin in Bylaw No. 2482
(1 m2 = 10.7639104 ft2). In the event of any dispute, the fees listed in Schedule "A" of "City of Langley
Development Cost Charge Bylaw, 2002, No. 2482 shall prevail.

1 51-125 units/hectare (21-50 units/acre)
2 126-200 units/hectare (51-81 units/acre)
