The Development Services & Economic Development Department
The Development Services & Economic Development Department is responsible for providing services related to the planning and development of the City as well as the enforcement of City Bylaws. The Department's activities are directed in four main areas:

- Issuing Building Permits to allow construction in the City
- Issuing Sign Permits and Business Licenses
- Promoting business in the City
